3, 1967, he was buried in the Woodlawn Cemetary in Leslie, Michigan.

Many years after the passing of Grandpa Walt, I was given a gift of Grandpa's last billfold, with many personal items still inside. One of Henry J Ripley's daughters, Theresa Marie, had been holding it. What a treasure to have and to be able to hold and secure for the future Ripley's to see.

Mary Ellen Jones who was born February 11, 1907, was loved by Walter. Walter and Grace
had never divorced but when Grace passed away 1959, Mary Ellen later started using Ripley
as her last name as is accepted and proper with common law marriage situations. Mary Ellen
Ripley moved back to Flint, Michigan after Walter died, where she was near Henry J Ripley's
daughters who watched over her in her final years. Mary Ellen passed away January 13, 1990,
at the age of 83, in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan.
